Yes, we are delighted to offer a cast-in-place service for gemstones and diamonds. Please be mindful of the type of stones you use, preferably diamonds, sapphires and rubies as these are less likely to be damaged by heat, but we have had good results with synthetics too. Stones can be temperamental under the best circumstances so this is not a guaranteed service. Stone-in-place wax casting takes place every week when needed. Please note, for best results we recommend incorporating back holes into you design. Holds are the rear of stones help them stay in place and lower the chances of casting failure.
Yes, this we can repurpose sentimental gold. It is an incredibly popular service and we are happy to accept your customers' heirloom and family gold for casting into new pieces. The metal must have a visible Hallmark or test as 9ct, 14ct and 18ct gold, we cannot mix carats. This service can be cast multiple times a week so it has a quick turn-around. The flat rate for this service is £195. This fee includes: XRF testing, casting charges, and button charge. The only additional charge would be for any metal needed to make up the required weight of the piece.
Gold and silver are cast multiple times a week so the turn around time is usually 2-3 days. Platinum is cast weekly. Own metal casting is done every 2-3 days. Our casting timelines for stone-in-place casting occur weekly as needed.
